The stage was quite hilly to start with but flattened out on reaching Caithness.
Sorry for the delay in the update but a flat battery and 7 hours at Inverness Airport was the problem.
Congratulations to all nine of us who have successfully completed the course, on a trip like this all of us will have had our good days and bad day but we all did it and are now members of the exclusive club.
I have not mentioned Jon for a few days as most of us were questioning whether he would be able to complete the course, he ruptured his achilles tendon on day four and from that point was virtually cycling on one leg and that led to injuries in his quad muscle but he was still able to hang in with us to the end "True Grit" springs to mind.
We all had a fantastic evening at the Sea View Hotel at John O'Groats drinking the night away and now when we look back at what we have achieved we can all be proud of ourselves.
Any one who is thinking of doing this trip, stop thinking about it and do it.
