The wind although mainly on our nose was nothing like as strong today, dropping away to very light in the afternoon.
One light shower on the Yorkshire Moors otherwise dry, occasional glimpses of the sun in the morning with longer sunny periods later in the afternoon.
Temperatures remained cool.
Although it was a short day the climbs were steeper and the ascent was more than previous days.
